The Cookery Classes will feature easy simple nutritious good value and extremely tasty plant based recipes for the whole family, with a festive slant (obviously).

 

There will be loads of free tasters and top ideas from some of the UK's top veggie chefs so not to be missed!

Viva!life Editor, Viva! and VVF Press Officer and Cookery Writer

Helen is an ex-newspaper journalist from Somerset who has been working for Viva! for two years – throwing herself into the cause from many directions – firstly as editor of Viva!’s magazine, Viva!life and pining down regular regional and national media coverage for Viva! and VVF’s campaigns, as press officer. Working closely with Jane Easton, Viva!’s consultant cookery queen, Helen has also turned her hand to developing and photographing delicious new vegan recipes and hosting lively cookery demos.

2.00 pm Cookerey Demo with Sophie Fenwick Paul

Speedy and simple - hearty eco-friendly dishes in a rush, from comfort food to healthy meals in minutes, featuring:

* 5 minute sponge pudding - a family favourite

* adulterated baked beans

* no-bake coconut banana oat squares

* and something raw and tasty!

 

Sophie has enjoyed being a voluntary speaker and cookery demonstrator for the Vegetarian Society and Viva! for over 15 years. As a hospitable mum she enjoys devising vegan dishes to win over even the pickiest meat-eating guests of all ages. Sophie helps businesses to cater better for vegetarians, vegans and special diets, including ski chalet companies through Veggie Snow and anyone catering for special diets using specialguests.co.uk. She's a co-founder of Thames Valley Veggies open social group, as well as of www.activeg.org - the site with the most comprehensive and up-to-date animal and veggie news on the internet.
