You can 'meet the experts' for more informal chats and some one to one advice too - we have a small room set aside and every hour another expert will be on hand to answer your questions and chat!

Fiona Cane-Honeysett from the Breastfeeding Network
The Breastfeeding Network (BfN) aims to be an independent source of support and information for breastfeeding women and others. The BfN is a recognised Scottish Charity(SC027007), and is active around the UK. The BfN run a number of Breastfeeding Centres and groups in Berkshire, offering information and support for breastfeeding mothers,or somewhere to sit down and meet other breastfeeding mums.
Fiona trained as a breastfeeding helper in 2008, and since then has helped atbreastfeeding clinics around Reading, and is working on a group who aim to provide breastfeeding information to Reading's schools.
Everyone is welcome to this session, whether they are parents already or parents-to-be who would like to find out more about breastfeeding or to discuss their own experiences, or those who may have no children at all yet are interested in the wider issues that surround breastfeeding, both locally and globally.
Sophie Fenwick - Paul will also be on hand to answer your questions about veggie and vegan parenting
1.00pm Helen Rossiter from Viva! - How to cook the perfect veggie christmas dinner. Helen is doing a full demonstration in the Cookery Demos area at 12.00 miday, and will be on hand in the experts room from 1.00pm till 2.00 pm for further questions and a chance to chat to Helen and get her to reveal her top tips for veggie specials.
2.00pm Dr Nina Bailey - Plant Based Essential Fatty Acids, Omega 3's and 6's
Dr Bailey is an expert in this field and will be available to help you understand the complex roles that fats play in our health and well being. She is presenting a talk at 12.00 in The Victoria Rooms and will then be on hand between 2.00 and 3.00 to answer further questions.
3.00pm Dr Stephen Walsh from The Vegan Society - Plant Based Nutrition, and Global Food Security.
Dr Stephen Walsh is an expert in both these areas, and is on hand to guide you through any questions you may have about the veggie/vegan lifestyle, including how to get enough protein, iron, calcium and other essential nutrients into your diet form plant based sources. Stephen is also well versed in Global Food Security, and as we 'celebrate' 25 years since Live Aid and the 1984 Ethiopian Famine, it is perhaps a fitting time to look at how Livestock farming effects global food security.
4.00PM Nutrition for Fat Loss With John Morgan
at what the scientific evidence has to say and explaining why there is no
"one size fits all" solution. It will also cover some of the common barriers
to fat loss, and give clear and practical advice to help you ditch the
excess pounds.
Reading. John has been in the fitness industry for five years and has
extensive experience of helping clients to achieve their health and fitness
goals, including fat loss.
