Fairfoods from mid-Devon provides tasty vegan food for meetings, special occasions, markets and festivals.
They always have a good selection of gluten-free food available; organic veg is used where possible and the cocoa and chocolate used is fairtrade. Fairfoods is run by vegans and is not-for-profit. It is planned that any profits will be ploughed back into the company, used to put on events promoting veganism or donated to vegan groups.
Green Garden Cafe is a not for profit, small vegan, social enterprise business ran by vegans.
Green Garden started on June 14th 2008. We started out as a catering company catering any event in any part of the UK such as business meetings, parties, festivals, green fayres, campaigns and supporting Midland Vegan Campaigns and we still operate mainly as a catering company. We also do food for donation at certain events. We also run a 1 day a week community cafe in Coventry offering different vegan dishes each week at affordable prices.
We have a community allotment where people can learn about animal friendly organic growing for free, and also grow their own vegetables within the community plot which is paid for by Green Garden Cafe. A small percentage of vegetables grown by volunteers will be used in the foods cooked. We try to use as much organic food in our foods as possible.
We recently were also awarded fair trade status.
We are excited about joining up with Devon's Fair Foods to jointly act as one caterer at the Reading Eco Fair.
We hope that this happy union may flourish :)
